My Friend the Teacher
A friend of mine is experiencing a major life transition with cancer. She has always been dynamic, dramatic, fun and full of life, and this creation also has her personal signature of life force. My friend and I have shared many adventures over the past years from teaching spiritual classes together to sharing midwife duties for my 800 pound sow. We now have a new level of adventure to share.
My friend is using her healing process to heal and teach others as she has throughout her life. She is communicating with friends, family and everyone she knows and meets sharing her love of life. Her life story is amazing and, like her, is dynamic and dramatic. Her willingness to share and forgive and continue to create is inspiring.
My friend has taught me perseverance, self acceptance and that joy can be discovered anywhere. Her strength and joy permeate the world within and around her. She shares completely with everyone who will receive. She always has a laugh.
A recent email from her about her life was full of joy – “It’s another beautiful day . . . the air is so soft, the light is golden, and flowers are all around us.” I was especially inspired by her lesson on – “Present time has a new meaning for me – I have to do one thing at a time – one step, one turn, one movement. It’s not a bad thing and I actually like the pace even if it takes so much longer to get things done. . . . Thanks to angel reminders when I get ahead of myself and start thinking about what’s next instead of being right here.”
Thank you, Marsha, for the inspiration and spiritual reminders. You give so much to so many. You are a wonderful life-long spiritual teacher.
