Creating with Good and Bad
Yes, there really is good and bad. This is one of the many dichotomies of planet Earth available for our creativity. To add an exciting twist to good and bad every individual, organization and society creates their unique definition of good and bad. We may not even know we have been bad according to someone else’s rules. We have a great deal of choice with this one opposite because we are so creative with it.
The rules based on good and bad are mostly physically focused, so we also have the opportunity of a spiritual perspective. The spiritual view may give a very different twist to any good/bad issue. The belief “it is always good to tell the truth” and “bad to lie” may be shifted with a spiritual perspective that “this truth would hurt, so I’ll be quiet or tell a lie.” Isn’t the good/bad dichotomy fun and creative? There is great possibility for creativity with this one dichotomy.
Recently people have attempted to replace good and bad with positive and negative. I do not know why unless everyone is attempting to be politically correct or avoid the judgement they attach to good and bad. Positive and negative refer to vibration such as electricity – positive/negative poles and have no relation to good/bad. Good and bad can be either positive or negative. Positive and negative relate more to aggressive-passive, male-female, yin-yang than to good & bad.
Maybe people are attempting to avoid the volatility offered by the good/bad choices in life. Maybe we are stuck on the idea good is good and bad is bad when actually good can be bad and vice versa. Have you ever loved someone so much you drove them away? Good became bad. Have you hurt someone’s feelings with a difficult truth and they eventually healed themselves with the information? Bad to good. Fascinating world we live in filled with choices.
You may want to begin playing with good and bad and try a little of both. Eventually you can learn to balance this dichotomy and be spiritually in charge of this one creative piece of life. As long as you judge either good or bad you are stuck on the physical rules and not free to create as spirit. This does not give you permission to be bad but freedom to balance and regain your spiritual view for clear choices.
